United Methodist Women and MenUMW
The United Methodist Women's group is an important part of the United Methodist Church. They meet once a month and support different mission projects, camp scholarships, Inner City Mission, Dumas Wesley, and other worthy organizations that need our help. The Bible studies sponsored by the women's groups are inspirational and informative. There are several circle groups. Find your spot and get involved.
Mills Circle, Chairman Beverly Hubbell, meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month.
Ruth-Stowe Circle, Chairman Jackie Thompson, meets at 10:30 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.
Baxter Circle, Chairman Sally Witt, meets at 10:30 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.
[NO UMW MEETINGS IN JULY FOR ANY CIRCLE]
The United Methodist Women have a reading program and it is not just for the UMW members; all ladies of Spring Hill Avenue UMW are invited to join us in reading these books. We have four different categories of books:
1. Nurturing for Community
2. Spiritual Growth
3. Social Action
4. Education for Mission
